Experience faced during Lockdown
My fashion venture - 'French Couture' by Sweta Saraff Kejriwal (home-based boutique & supplying to hi-end boutiques nationwide) & Cutekins (kids accessories) came to a standstill during the Corona Lockdown in March-April 2020. Our first action was to reach out to our karigars and ask if they required any help or assistance and do the needful to help them, so they feel our support during these tough times. Since my assistants were working-from-home, I brainstormed with my team and my family on how to best utilize their time. During this period, we decided to focus on increasing our social media followers, content-creation for future campaigns and posts, research on venues accross the country to create more physical avenues for sales post-lockdown.We have also contacted several key players who can help us with collaborations once the scenario normalizes. Next on our agenda is to create a design-database which can easily be produced into our new collection, as and when the market picks up. We have also used this time to start work in our website and collaborations with online players and starting to list our products on their portals. We are using this quiet-time to prepare ourself to go full-throtle once the world resumes normalcy. Meanwhile, we are posting gentle messages of love, care and best wishes to our entire client database....just to give them some hope and encouragement and to wish them well during these trying times. Through these endeavours we are trying our best to utilize these times of Lockdown in an effective and productive manner, through being 'efficiently relaxed'!
